Year Attained TAGME Certification: 2008
Professional Work: Worked in the Department of Orthopedics at West Virginia University for 30 years with 24 of those years being the Residency Coordinator, Residency Program Administrator and Senior Program Administrator of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program, Adult Reconstruction Fellowship and Spine Fellowship. Manages the daily administrative activities as outlined in the ACGME Institutional, Common and Specialty Program requirements including: alumni activities, budget/finances, curriculum/schedules, evaluations, governing body requirements, in-service and board exams, internal review, new resident orientation, program quality and improvement, recruitment/selection, resident graduation, policy and procedure manual and statistics/procedure logs. Responsible for the direct supervision of the administrative and professional responsibilities for the residents and serves as the primary liaison between the program director, residents, program faculty, central GME office and affiliated teaching sites.
