When to apply

2023 Assessment Cycle

Applications must be completed, including supporting documentation, by 11:59 pm (CDT) on June 1, 2023. Late or incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

April 1 – June 1

TAGME Certification: WHAT, WHY and HOW

Since around 2002, the responsibilities of the program coordinator have increased and evolved bringing about the need for a higher level of skills, ability and knowledge that elevated the program coordinator from a clerical/secretarial position to a professional position of manager/administrator. This culminated in the formation of the National Board for Certification for Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education Programs (TAGME).
